ASK- What's the problem

EXPLORE- Find out what others have done to solve the problem in the past. Brainstorm a solution

PLAN/DESIGN- Sketch and label a blueprint, make a materials list

CREATE- Use your blueprint/plan and build your design

TRY IT OUT/MAKE IT BETTER- Test your idea and make it better

Each grade works on 1-2 engineering projects a year:

K- bridge building

1st- Skyscrapers and Mighty Machines

2nd- Dinosaurs and Signal Horns

3rd- Boats and Earth Dwellings

4th- Mechanical Legs and Marshmallow Catapults

5th- Robotic Arms and Wind Turbines
